“The Bassman” is the tenth single by Irish rock band Eventstellar, released worldwide through Stormwind Music International on May 5, 2017, and relaunched in May 2024.

The Bassman single, including the hit track “John Sunday,” was recorded at Skógalfoss Studios on Reykjavik Island. It was produced by Soun Kanda, Sunoh Kanda, and Thor Linnane. Production was in charged of mixing engineer Soun Kanda, marking this release as one of Eventstellar’s key milestones in their catalog.
