The waves touch the shore
And the sun sets low
The water shines
An ultramarine sign

I stand and watch in awe
As the sea rolls and sways
The colour is like nothing else
A beautiful array

Crystal clear and pure
A sense of peace and calm ensues
The sound of waves wash over me
I close my eyes and breathe in deep

A canvas so bright turquoise hue
The ocean in deep blue
The waves dance and sway in harmony
As the sun casts its golden view

With the beauty and the wonder
Of the turquoise sea…
