“Boys” is Eventstellar’s third extended play, offering a reflective exploration of identity, growth, and modern challenges. Featuring seven tracks that traverses themes of transformation, critique, and homage, showcasing the band’s storytelling prowess and evolving sound.

“The Poolbeg Co.” opens with a raw narrative on disillusionment, depicting the shift from youthful naivety to the complexities of adulthood. “An cat dubh” revisits lingering shadows from the past, while “Dawn” symbolizes new beginnings, standing in contrast to fading twilight.

The centerpiece, “The Ballad of Hildur Guðnadóttir“, is a poetic tribute to the Icelandic composer, celebrating her impact as an artist and creative force. Her resilience and emotional depth resonate as the track’s focal point, serving as a heartfelt homage to her legacy.

“Information Overdose“, a sharp critique of digital dependence, and “Dorian the grey“, a cosmic exploration of alienation and existential themes. The collection concludes with “Under a Blood Red Sky“, a striking commentary on power and privilege, reflecting on authenticity in a changing world.

Originally recorded between November 2018 and mid-January 2019, Boys was released on February 11, 2019. And re-release on December 11, 2024.
