“Love is a distant signal” is the second album by the rock band Eventstellar, released through Norðurljós Music on May 29, 2020. Recorded in Dublin, Ireland and Reykjavík, Iceland. The album presents a space-bound love story shaped by distance, choice and connection.
The record centers on Lyra, a woman from Earth and Lūrlen, a man from the Alpha Centauri A system. Whose bond forms across space through dreams and a recurring signal.
Across twelve tracks, the album follows that signal from absence and first contact to departure, reunion and legacy.
Blending space rock and dream pop, "Love is a distant signal" stands as one of the most narrative-driven releases in the Eventstellar canon, focused on connection and the idea that love can exist long before arrival.

Synopsis:
